The other raw materials from renewable sources: vegetable oils
Raw materials used by SO.G.I.S. are also vegetable oils from the EU and tropical areas. Even in this case, the Company pay the utmost attention to sustainability criteria. Most of all, for Palm Oil, SO.G.I.S. joined the RSPO (Round Table Sustainable Palm Oil) Management System and got the Mass Balance Certification.
On top of that, SO.G.I.S. is a very active Chemical Company in looking for renewable raw materials able to endorse new local value chains, fostering local area development.
